Membership Information
Requirements :
The " Duxford 78th Fighter Group Association - WW II " was founded by the veteran members of the 78th Fighter Group, ETO ( 1942 -1945 ). "Membership" is limited to those individuals who served honorably with the 78th Fighter Group, USAAF, anytime from it's activation in 1942 through October, 1945.
"Associate" membership is also open to any individual who feels that they would benefit from or contribute to the "Honor and Memory" of the 78th Fighter Group.
Dues* for both grades is $25.00 per year. They are due each year on the anniversary date of the membership.
Approved Membership includes a subscription to the Association Newsletter " The Checkerboard " and participation in sanctioned Association events and projects.
* - The annual Dues are used to offset the cost of the preparation, printing and mailing of " The Checkerboard "( Newsletter ) and other general mailings. Also, a portion may be used to partially offset costs for "Memorial" projects approved by the membership at the annual Reunion meeting.
